Screenshot translation
Take your screenshot story
into 28 languages.
Localize your App Store and Google Play screenshots: Studio sets your headlines and screenshot text in English plus 28 languages, including Arabic right to left and Chinese (Simplified), in fonts that cover each script. Your app’s own screens are never redrawn or translated.

Two ways to translate
AI translation
- Save the project to your account and unlock it.
- Choose a language in the Language section of Words. Studio drafts one language per request and shows it as a live preview on every screenshot and size.
- Edit the words with the Text controls; the original stays unchanged.
- Save language version: a separate project that uses the original’s unlock and draws on the same AI allowance.
Included with the $10 unlock, one language per request, within an hourly and daily allowance per project.
Your own translation
- Export text for translation.
- Translate the file your way.
- Import translated text, as one undoable edit. Import checks each font and fits the new text.
- Save a project file first to keep a separate language version.
This works in the languages your project’s fonts cover: English and 13 more. The other 15, including Russian, Chinese (Simplified) and Arabic, need the fonts a project gets through an AI translation language version.
What it doesn’t do
- It never translates your app’s screens or words inside images.
- AI translation doesn’t shorten words to fit.
- No person reviews the translation, so check each language before you export.
- Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese (Simplified) and Arabic use typefaces that cover their scripts in place of your project’s own, and italics become upright where the script has none.
Free and paid
- Exporting your screenshot text and importing your own translation is free, with no account, in the languages your project’s fonts cover: English and 13 more.
- AI translation, the other 15 languages and clean exports come with the $10 unlock.
- Language versions share the original project’s unlock.
